The Ethics and Rules of Practical Jokes
The simple basics of playing pranks and gags on family and friends.
Practical jokes are great if you stick to the rules and ethics.
1.) No physical harm should befall the recipient
The aim is to embarrass and humiliate to a slight degree, not send them to the hospital.
2.) The best place to perform should be considered.
Pulling a practical joke without a witness isn't much of a joke.
3.) Be prepared to put in some work.
(physical or mental)no joke can be laid without minimum preparation(also see #1)
4.) Be prepared to abandon the joke if all the above criteria are not met.
Better to postpone rather than have it fall flat.
5.) Enlist as few a number of cohorts as possible.
The more people that know your plan the more chance of it falling apart before success.
6.) Be prepared for what will ultimately be you're reward
( be on guard when you succeed).
These things of which i speak are only the beginnings to learning the art of practical jokes,
rest assured that most jokes fall flat because the basics (as outlined above) are not adhered to.
Remember that one should always be able to laugh at oneself in case the joke should backfire as many can and do.
